Oh my Darling Ketamine

Stuck to a mirror and growing slimmer,
bordering on a perfect line,
pale and powdered, mystically shrouded,
was my new love, Ketamine.

She whipped my cortex into a vortex,
trapped my sense of space and time
in a matrix. This dominatrix
was my true love, Ketamine.

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
oh my darling Ketamine!
She made my every mental part shake
and killed my heartbreak, Ketamine.

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
oh my darling Ketamine!
Her weird reality was somewhat better.
I won’t forget her, Ketamine.

She held me firmly on our journey
through the ether, to cloud nine,
then back to childhood where, in a wild wood,
we met Lord Krishna in a shrine.

We watched dictators and Viking raiders
dance and breed and intertwine
in a kaleidoscope, beneath a microscope,
and watched reality re-align.

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
oh my darling Ketamine!
She kissed my brainwaves and showed me peace.
Oh, what a release, sweet Ketamine!

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
oh my darling Ketamine!
Her weird reality was somewhat better.
I don’t regret her, Ketamine.
